Born in Sudan on 12/24/1982 to mother Hanim Kharasit Mahmood Mohamed and late father Bob Paul Jurkin. Survived by Wife Jessica, whom he was so in love with from the first day they met. Petya hid in a closet because he was too shy to talk to her. Together for 11 years and hope to be with forever and with four amazing children Sammy (9), Summer (8), Sunny (6), and Serenity (4) who he loved more than anything in the world. He leaves behind, his mother four brothers (John, Luwan, Lukudu, and Soka) and two sisters (Ketali and Warun) Jurkin.”
Petya was a loving caring father, husband, uncle to many nieces and nephews and brother to all. He was sadly taken from us so early and unexpectedly. In his last moments he was surrounded with love and family. He has touched so many lives and left an unforgettable impression. The legacy, love, memories and all the good times we all shared with him will live in us forever. He was my friend and the best brother I could ever ask for.
Although he had struggles in his life, he dedicated himself fully to what he called “his wolf pack. He loved nature and could always be found outside exploring or creating pieces of art with the little things he found around. He loved the color pink, working on cars, singing, teaching his kids about nature and survival. Petya always had a big, beautiful smile on his face and an even bigger heart. He always saw the positive in all people in the worst of times. I am grateful to have known such a beautiful soul. He will forever be missed but live forever in our thoughts and hearts.
During this difficult time of grieving the loss of our beloved Petya, on behalf of our family; we are grateful for your presence, prayers, and continued support.
