Priscilla Jane Ayers, age 80, of Manchaca, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. She was born on October 25, 1927 to Daniel S. and Amyet Leach Worthen in Concord, New Hamsphire. She retired from Manchaca Baptist Church Daycare, a job she enjoyed because she loved children very much. She enjoyed music and was in several singing clubs including Sweet Adalines and Singing Notables, and was an active member of South Austin Senior Citizens Center. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Ayers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy Gilmore and Rod of Salt Lake City; son and daughter-in-law, David and Betty of Buda; and grandson, Eric of Buda. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas.
