

Raymond Ray Robinson was born to William Robinson, Sr. and Myrtle Atwood Robinson on June 3, 1959, in Austin, Texas. He departed this life on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Raymond accepted Christ at an early age at St. Edwards Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Admiral DeWitty, Pastor. Raymond attended Austin public school.Raymond was married to Linda Faye Mayberry (deceased), with one child from this union, Raymond Robinson, Jr. Later Raymond married Helen Flint, with one child to this union; Sherae Flint. Jennifer Black is also his daughter; with mother, Ava Mercer.Raymond was seven of eight brothers and sisters. He was their hero! Ray was the over-protective son, father and brother. He made sure no harm came to anyone he loved! If you didn’t know; just ask someone about “Ray”. Those who were fortunate enough to have known him understood that the quality of existence far exceeded the quality of time in which one lived. He will be missed by all. His father, William Robinson, Sr., preceded him in death, along with his maternal grandmother, Myrtle Atwood-Canada; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Robinson; son, Jimeze Robinson; and sister, Ruby McBride. Raymond leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Myrtle Robinson; his daughters, Sherae Flint and Jennifer Black; his son, Raymond Robinson, Jr.; sisters: Novella Atwood-City, Brenda Joyce Robinson, Marsha Robinson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ella Shelton (Carl), and Carol Mae Williams; brothers: Roger Robinson, William Robinson, Jr., Lester (Butch) Robinson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Cornelius Robinson; eleven grandchildren: Tori Watters, Trinitee Watters, Linda Robinson, Melody binson, Area Robinson, Mathew Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Darius Black, De’Shawn Black, Alyssa Black and Demetrius Black; one great grandchild, Salice Robinson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
