Becky Sage passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the age of 66 after a lengthy illness. She was born January 15, 1947 in Burnet, Texas to William Aubrey Burrage and Ada Zimmerman Burrage.
Becky was a loving, caring wife, mother, sister and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Even during her lengthy illness, she always had a smile for everyone and was always concerned about everybody else.
Becky was employed for many years at the National Guard Armory at Camp Mabry and retired in 2002.
She is survived by her husband Mack; and her two children Melodie and Michael Sage, and three step sons: Larry, Dennis and Terry Sage; and her sister June A. Moncrief and husband Charles.
Memorial Services will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 24th of August 2013, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American Lung Association 5926 Balcones Drive, Austin, TX 78731 or the American Cancer Society, 2433 Ridgepoint Drive, Suite B, Austin, Texas, 78754 or charity of your choice.
