

Rickey Ray Morgan was born June 28, 1957 in Taylor, Texas to Ethel Mae Campbell-Shuler and Marion Thomas Bell. He passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Walnut Hills Convalescent Center at the age of 62, after battling a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas where he lived his life to the fullest until his last moments.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved sons: Thomas Ray Morgan (Prince Joseph) of Austin, Texas, and Rickey Ray Morgan II of Lawrenceville, Georgia; twelve grandchildren: Israel Morgan, Joshua Morgan, Micah Morgan, Gabriel Morgan, Brianna Morgan-Dupuie, Jonathan Morgan, Maciah Morgan, Kenneth Morgan, Joel Morgan, Janae Morgan, Kennedy Morgan and Riva Heaven Lily Morgan; eight sisters: JoAnne Campbell, Janet Green-Morgan, Barbara Evans, Rachel Shaw, Edith Shuler, Marylin Shuler-Stallion, Shirley Shuler, Wanda Shuler; three brothers: Marion Morgan, Robin Morgan, Sammy Shuler, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Known as COw to many, Rickey was cheerful, funny and will always be remembered for speaking his mind. Rickey will surely be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Harry Lee Campbell and Lou Gene Campbell.
Burial will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Travis County Wells School Cemetery, 14510 Wells School Road, Manor, Texas 78653.
