

Bobby was born November 28, 1964 in St. Paul, MN, the fourth child of Alice and Theodore Bellemans.
He graduated from David Crockett High School then completed a BA in Music on scholarship from the University of Miami and also a Masters in Music from Texas State University. He was an amazing, naturally gifted musician. His sensitive and passionate nature was expressed through multiple musical talents on a plethora of instruments. He took great joy in encouraging and participating in music with his sons Benjamin and Jacob.
He performed with many notable artists and bands including: Beto Y Los Fairlanes, B.B. King, Ian Moore, The Mavericks, Jack Ingram, Matt Wilson, Junior Brown, Texas State Music Theater, The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra, and many more.
Bobby was a determined, intelligent, dedicated and loving soul. In addition to performing as an accomplished professional musician, composer and producer, Bobby worked as a Certified Landman, Title Examiner, a college music teacher and private tutor. He also took pleasure in volunteering for the band at Lago Vista High School.
Bobby deeply loved his family, his music, the mountains and anything outdoors and athletic, including fishing, hiking, SUP boarding and yoga. He was a gentle and caring father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend who blessed many with his life, music and compassion.
He is survived by his mother, Alice M. Bellemans, son Jacob Karl Bellemans and his mother Laura Bellemans, siblings Jim Bellemans and wife Honey, Mary Alice Heape and husband Scott, and Kathleen Bellemans Malcom as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his son Benjamin Thomas Bellemans and father Theodore Bellemans.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm for a visitation preceding a celebration of life service at 1:00 pm in the afternoon on Thursday, the 26th of February 2015, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Followed by a graveside service at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas.
