On Tuesday, January 12, 2010 Robert Brock left this world to join Sandra Brock, the beloved mother of their boys, in heaven. Robert was born November 1, 1938 in Waco, Texas, where he spent his childhood and made many lifelong friends. Robert and Sandra moved to Dallas in 1963 with their young son Von. In 1969, they had their second son Lee. Sandra died tragically in 1972 leaving Robert to raise his two sons. Robert's passion for life included avid motorcycle riding, beginning in his childhood and continuing with his boys as they grew up. He was a talented artist and devoted Texas Longhorn sports fan. That passion lives on through his sons and grandson, Colin. Since the early 70's Robert had a thriving business in commercial carpeting, where he made many loyal friends from his clients and colleagues. His friends will always remember him as the life of the party where his zest for life, laughter and love always shined. His laugh was infectious and always kept everyone smiling. Robert was very close to his boys and instilled in them that life should always be fun. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 23 at noon at Waco Memorial Park in Waco, Texas.
