Uncle Bob was a wonderful man.  I have many fond memories of him at the lake.   He had such a kind heart, always offering to help with anything we were working on at our lake house.  Uncle Bob took us aside and gave us some advice about raising our only child that came when we were new parents who were receiving lots of advice at the time.  We often recall what he told us  "there is only one way to raise your child,  the way YOU want to raise her".  That was a refreshing comment.  Uncle Bob, you will be greatly missed!

Bob was a great leader and mentor to many Airmen, including me.  I am grateful for his service and proud to have served at the 67th Civil Engineering Squadron with him at Bergstrom Air force Base.

Will raise a glass tonight in memory of Bob!  What a great leader, mentor and Airmen.  I learned a lot of from him as a young Lieutenant at Bergstrom AFB in the late 1980s. I want to express my sincere condolences to the family.  Bob was great fun to talk to. My wife, Collene, enjoyed taking care of him and will maintain a lot of love in her heart for him forever.
