The next reunion of Carrick High School (Pittsburgh, PA. Class of February, 1943) will be missing one of its champion tennis team members. Bob won the City Singles Championship and also represented Carrick High School at the Penn State Finals landing a second place. While equally proud of his English heritage, he was equally proud to serve his country and joined the U.S. Air Force upon graduation from high school. Bob became a 2nd Lieutenant and discharged with honor. Bobs career with Gulf Oil Corporation had him working in executive positions in Pittsburgh, PA, London, England and when he retired in 1980 he was Assistant Treasurer of Insco, Ltd., in Hamilton, Bermuda. Bobs love of golf lured him to Austin, TX, where he became a Lifetime Member of Lost Creek Country Club and spent many happy hours with his friends.
