Roger Gonzalez, 50, of Austin, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2018. He was the son of Roger J Gonzalez of Pensacola, Florida and Juanita Gonzalez of Austin, Texas. Born in San Antonio and moved to Austin where he graduated from David Crockett High School. He went on to become a Chef at various restaurants throughout the Austin area. Besides his love for cooking, he enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and was an avid cat lover.
His brother, William Gonzalez, precedes him in death.
Roger is survived by his sister, Janina; brother, James Gonzalez; a loving niece, Bridgette Gonzalez, also of Austin.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 21, 2018, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 126 Oltorf St, Austin, Texas.
