A man of many talents, he lettered in baseball, football, and wrestling at Lincoln High School. He also played the role of attorney, pilot, business and racecar owner, gear-head, father, and storyteller extraordinaire, to name a few. Ron was known for his big heart, his fighting spirit, and his ability to make friends wherever he went.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothea Rosenberg. He is survived in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Norm and Emily Rosenberg, his children, Rachel Rosenberg O’Brien, A.J. Rosenberg, and Rebecca Rosenberg, and their mother, Sheila Rosenberg, his daughter-in-law Rixi, and grandchildren Leah and Ronny, plus numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones.
There will be a graveside service at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 11:30 am.
Memorial Services will be held at Congregation Beth Israel, 3901 Shoal Creek Blvd. Austin, Texas, 78756 Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 3:00 pm.
