Rosie was born on September 4, 1948, in Taft, Texas. She was a secretary in the produce industry and Nursing field. Rosie loved to dance, play pool and spend time with her family. She was loved very much by her family and friends and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Campos; son, John Edward Garcia; and her first husband, Antonio Garcia.
Rosie is survived by her mother, Victoria Vega Campos; daughter, Sylvia Garcia Salazar and her husband Benny; son, Manuel Garcia and his wife, Flor; sisters, Vera Gwin and her husband Rick, Martha Olson and her husband Bob; brother, Johnny Campos and his wife Jenine; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 5:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress in Austin with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Austin.
