Ruby Jewell Baker was the fifth child born to Jewel Winston on September 20,1951. She departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, June 9, 2023 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 71 years old.
Ruby loved watching westerns and cowboy movies in her spare time. When not watching television, you could find her on the porch watching cars and people go by.
She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church until COVID prevented her from attending. Ruby was often there whenever the doors opened to praise the Lord. Those who knew Ruby couldn’t help but love her lively personality, joy and laughter.
Ruby was proceeded in death by her mother; two brothers, Curtis and Billy Jo. ; as well as her sister Francis.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Kembra Baker; her brothers Bobby Baker and Mark Baker (Kaye); special friend Stella James and a host of other relatives and friends.
