She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Eugene Lewis, her parents, Henry and Esther Haney, brother, Delbert Haney, and sister, Minnie Marie North.
She is survived by her son, Randy Lewis and his wife, Judi, and their six children; niece/goddaughter, Melissa Goodin; sisters, Joyce Bubela and Carolyn Chovanec; brothers, Henry “Hank” Haney, Charles Haney, and Lloyd Haney; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 5th of March 2011, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1513 East Yager Lane, Austin, Texas 78753.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in memory of Ruth E. Lewis to Our Savior Lutheran Church, in support of its ministries. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
