

He grew up surrounded by friends, soccer fields, ball parks, his school and church. He moved with his mom and brothers to New Orleans and finished High School, relocating to Baton Rouge to attend LSU, making and keeping friends through all these years. Ryan’s biggest move was to Austin, he ended up as an extra in a couple of films and his big thrill was working with Mike Judge playing the part of “Clevon” in the movie “Idiocracy.” His next adventure was starting his construction business.
Ryan died the morning of December 5th, 2010 from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident, waiting for him were his Grandpa Ransdell and Papa Overstreet.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Deborah Ransdell of Austin; his father, Gary and wife, Janet of Decatur; his brothers, Philip (Cathy) and Rhett (Nora), all of Houston; grandmothers, Letha Ransdell and Marjorie Overstreet and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Ryan’s love of life and amazing sense of humor will be so missed. Ryan will always be in the hearts of all his dear friends and family!
