God so loved us that he blessed us with our precious Ryan on December 19, 1989. Ryan was the greatest gift ever received. God so loved Ryan that he chose to take him home Saturday, April 2, 2011 as a result of a tragic automobile accident. He leaves behind his loving parents, Norma Chapa and Roy Tschatschula; grandparents Jose and Lourdes Chapa, Royce and Dorothy Tschatschula; aunt Monica Smith; uncles Ronnie Tschatschula, and Scott Smith, cousins Amanda Tschatschula and Nina and Harrison Smith, several other aunts, uncles and cousins and a myriad of friends. He was the best son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend anyone could ask for.
Ryan was most content in the company of his many friends! These very friends held an impromptu vigil in celebration of Ryan’s life on Saturday night. Ryan was in his element spending the afternoon playing Disc Golf. He was a talented writer. He was a History buff and sports fanatic always keeping up with his beloved Texas Longhorns. He had an ear for music and loved to listen to Hip Hop, Country Western, and Classic rock. Ryan had recently recorded a few songs with some friends. He was a graduate of Garza High School and currently a student at Austin Community College and had hoped to become a Radiological Technician. Though silenced by his early death, Ryan will continue to live through his spirit and memory. In addition, he will continue to live through others as an organ and tissue donor.
His grieving family and friends cannot imagine going on without him. However, the outpouring of support via calls, text, emails, and visits they have received, have helped comfort them immensely.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Road. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity. Most importantly please honor Ryan’s life by taking the opportunity to spend time with those you love and those that love you the most.
