

Shawnta Lynette (Bell) Amanze 56, of San Antonio passed away on Tuesday July 23rd, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, San Antonio Texas. She was born in Huntington West Virginia to Katrina (Layne - Bell) Udeh and Kenneth W. Bell and had accepted Christ at an early age. She was previously employed at Capital Metro as a Special Transit driver and with the Austin State Supported Living Center (Austin State School) for 23 years before her health prevented continuance.
Shawnta was preceded in death by her Parents, Grandparents and a beloved Aunt Patricia Rinehardt.
Shawnta lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting and spending time with friends and family and loving on her Great nieces and nephews. Shawnta was a compassionate, funny, witty and a loving soul who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her loving sons Shane A. Bell and Marc O. Amanze of Austin and her devoted Sister and Brother-in-LawAngela Bell McDonald (Derek). Nephews Sean McDonald, Bradly McDonald (Madison) and Scott McDonald (Shon’neisha), Great nephews/nieces Da’quaris McDonald, Da’zarain McDonald, Darreona McDonald, Demauri McDonald, Damiya McDonald, Wyatt McDonald and Luca McDonald of Austin; Uncles: Ronald Bell of Beaumont and Stephen Bell of Dallas and Aunts Judith Collins of Dallas, Marth Brown and Renee Lewis of Beaumont and a host of cousins and friends who will cherish their memories and mourn her passing.
