Sheryl Elaine Bayley Manning, age 68, of Dripping Springs, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, in Austin, Texas. She was born in Santa Monica, California, on December 27, 1947, to the late Gerald Lynn and Norma Delores Harness Bayley.
Sheryl was a highly skilled Dental Hygienist for many years. She loved her job and her patients adored her. Sheryl loved the Texas hill country and enjoyed her second career as a real estate agent. Sheryl was a member of Oak Hill UMC and was a very spiritual woman with a kind and loving heart. She was always upbeat, extremely generous and loved her family and friends. Sheryl was a loving mother to her son, Robby, and a devoted wife to her husband, Bob.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her son, Robert Spencer Bayley Manning; husband, Eugene Robert Manning, Jr.; and brother, Terry Lynn Bayley. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Cynthia Bayley; brother, Mark Bayley and wife Brenda; sister, Barbara Kurtz; brother, Bruce Bayley and wife Joy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Oak Hill United Methodist Church located at 7815 W. Hwy 290, Austin,
