

Stanley grew up in New York City and served his country as a radioman during the Korean War, later receiving a B.S. in Physics from Queens College. He worked as an Electronics/Telecommunications Engineer, traveling extensively to many countries during his career. After retirement he also worked for the Travis County Central Appraisal District. He was a member of the St Louis Parish and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Stanley John Juba Sr., his sister Dorothy (Dovima) Hollingsworth and his mother Margaret (Peggy) Horan Juba He is survived by four daughters, Holly Peer of Richardson, TX; Susan Cummins of Leander, TX; Angela Miklos of Phoenix, AZ and Deirdre Juba of Manor, TX, as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the employees and residents of Provident Crossings for their friendship and support and also to the professionals at North Austin Medical Center for their caring service.
A funeral service will be held for Stanley at three o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 with a visitation to follow until six at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas 78752. Interment with military honors will be at 11 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, Killeen, Texas 76542.
For those who wish to donate to a worthy cause in Mr. Juba’s name, his final wishes request that donations be made to the Salvation Army and The Catholic Charities.
