She was the gracious leader of our family, a faithful servant to Jesus Christ, and devoted every day of her life to serve others. She brought joy to all around her and was gifted at making everyone feel special. She was known for the sparkles she wore and the twinkle in her eyes. She never left the house without her makeup done and her hair curled. She taught her family the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Sybil was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years William “Bill” Hiney; parents, B.B. and Sue Parson; and brother, Butch Parson. She is survived by son, Joey Hiney and wife, Phyllis, and daughter, Lani; daughter, Sue Gove and her children, Rick and wife, Ann, Derek and wife, Shannon, Max and wife, Shanna, and Hailey; son, Charlie Hiney and wife, Melissa, and their sons, Tyler and wife, Meg, and Wade and wife, Nia; sister, Martha Schwartz; and 9 great-grandchildren, Kade, Emily, Lola, Noel, Sadie, Jane, Ander, Molly, & Rose.
She was a member of Pleasant Retreat Methodist Church in Thorndale, Texas.
