

Theodore (Ted) B. Warwick, age 73, of Austin, TX, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2003. Ted was born in Dallas, TX on July 3, 1930 and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston, TX. He served 30 years in the U. S. Navy as a Naval Photographer and achieved the rank of PHCM. He served his country proudly in many assignments which took him all over the world. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and was decorated while participating in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was an accomplished swimmer, avid bowler and golf enthusiast. After retiring from the Navy in 1978, he came home to his native Texas where he was employed by GolfSmith until his second retirement in 1995. He enjoyed his retirement and was affectionately known to his countless friends as Captain F-Stop as both his CB handle and internet nickname. His sharp intelligence and dry wit will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Genevieve M. Warwick, of Austin, TX. He is the beloved father of sons, Steven B. and Barbara Warwick, of Keller, TX and Michael P. Warwick and Lauri Wilcox, of Reno, NV; daughters, Carolyn D. and Robert Bingham, of Round Rock, TX, Cynthia R. and John Rodriquez, of Buda, TX, Joyce P. and Jack Morse, of Oak Hill, TX., and Janice L. and Tim McNutt, of Austin, TX. He was also adored by 12 grandchildren; Bonnie, Kristal, Sara, Tara, Christopher, Matthew, Daniel, A.J., Stephen, Lisa, Ian, and Emily. He was also loved and respected by brothers-in-law, Henry and Marge Krasnesky and Delbert Kraner; and sister-in-law, Florence Krieger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Edith Kilpatrick Cunningham; his father, Theodore Bryant Warwick; sisters, Emma Suzanne Krommes and Mary Bryant Pickett; and brother, Arthur. The family will receive friends from 7:00 9:00 P.M. on Monday, December 29, 2003 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, with Reverend Roger Shankle officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
