
Thomas E. (Tom) Potts February 14, 1917 to April 16, 2008 Tom Potts went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Annie, on 4/16/08. He grew up in Liberty Hill and he and Annie ran a café there for many years. Tom served in the United States Army during World War II and had many stories about his adventures that he loved to share with friends and family. Tom was a member of Woodcliff Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who crossed his path. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie, his grandson, Bob Blocker, his parents Fred and Fannie Potts and his sisters Freda Staton and Jane Furgess. He is survived by his step-daughters Frances Blocker and Ellen Bartz, his grandchildren Cindy English, John Blocker, Jimmy, William, and Debbie Bartz, his great grandchildren Ali and John Niles and Lee Bartz and great-great grandson Travis Bartz. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 18 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Graveside services will follow at the Liberty Hill Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of the Loyalton Assisted Living Facility, in particular Debbie Holloway, and Odyssey Hospice for the services they provided.
