Thomas worked as an Electrical Lineman for the City of Austin over 25 years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas N. Taylor on June 2, 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Taylor; mother, Mildred Taylor; son, Troy Taylor; daughter, Misty Taylor; grandson, Miles; brother, Charles Taylor; and his sister, Linda Taylor.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2010 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park with Reverend Don Long officiating.
