

Timothy Clark Gaines, 27, was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 16, 2008. Timothy was born on November 17, 1980 in Houston, Texas to David and Constance Dopson Gaines. He moved with his family to Austin when he was six weeks old…always considering himself a native Austinite. He attended Boone Elementary where his mom was a teacher, Bailey Middle School, and Bowie High School where he graduated in 1999. In 2003, he earned a degree in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University in San Marcos. Blessed with a curious, creative mind, Timothy enjoyed writing poetry, playing the guitar, and working with electronics and computers. His most recent projects include developing a short animation film and investigating ways to bend sound waves to transform various noises into music. Timothy was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed greatly by his loving parents, sister and brother-in-law Whittney and Michael Bednarz of Magnolia, nephews Landon and Seth Bednarz of Magnolia, sister Allison Gaines of Austin, grandparents Bob and Carla Bullington of Dumas, Margaret Gaines of Midland, and Jimmie and Derah Gaines of San Angelo, aunts and uncles Neil and Cheryl Kulhanek of Brenham, Mark Dopson of Austin, Warren and Rosemary Sellers of Midland, Jim Gaines of Midland, Mark Gaines of Midland, and Bruce and Kristi Gaines of Lubbock and numerous cousins, extended family and friends including Jasmine, our family shihtzu and his loyal companion. He was preceded in death by his grandfather L.T. Dopson of Dumas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the same location.
