Tim was an Austin native living in central Texas most of his life. He was born on October 20, 1940 to John Francis "Jack Sr." and Frances Hulen Ritter in Austin, Texas. Tim was a successful businessman who enjoyed a variety of entrepreneurial interests. For most of his adult life, he was a member of the Rotary Club and a lay minister for the Episcopal Church. He dedicated his later years to the well-being and success of his children.
Tim is survived by his 3 children Christine Ritter, John Ritter and his wife Cali, and Katie Zanskas and her husband Steve, and six grandchildren Melanie, Sydney, Garrett, Jack, Jacob Johnston and Jacob Ritter.
A visitation will be held to honor Tim at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue on Saturday September 30, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm.
A private internment ceremony will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation to one of the many cancer foundations or another charity of your choice.
