Tommie loved a good jitterbug dance not to mention a smooth waltz with her husband of 27 years, Harold, whom she said goodbye to in 1996. She was fondly known as the dancer in her last days at the nursing home. She loved spending time with everyone sitting in the front porch swing. Most would have thought that many world problems were solved in that porch swing. But most importantly her love for life was found in the day-to-day accomplishments, setbacks and come backs of her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was one that would give you the shirt off her back. Mom, Granny, Aunt Tommie, friend were many of the names she so loved to hear and greeted with a smile and a hug.
Memorial Service 11:00 am on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue.
