Verlene Mae Hudson Abbott, of Bastrop, died March 30, 2005. Verlene was preceded in death by her parents Bennie and Bertha Hudson. She is survived by her children, Marge Campbell, Thomas Abbott, of Phoenix; Maurice Chip E. Abbott III, of Bastrop; and Dorothy Coleman, of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Hilary and Zachary Campbell; Cassandra and John Coleman; and great grandchildren, Ainsley and Devin Campbell. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm on Friday, April 8, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Wilke- Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
