Col. Vibert Strock Jr.

Vibert was born August 28, 1942 to parents Vibert and Pauline Strock. He graduated from Glynn Academy High School in 1960 and in 1964 he received a degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia. In 1965, he moved to Webb Airforce Base and accepted a position as a student pilot.

Vibert was a great man and a loving father. He married Charlene Madden in 1964 and the couple had three children together. Vibert was a social, active man who enjoyed golf.

Vibert is survived by his wife, Charlene Strock of Dripping Springs, TX; his sons, V. Linn Strock III of Dripping Springs, TX and Charles Strock of Franklin, TN; and his daughter, Shannon Strock-Smith (David) of Bastrop, TX.

A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Palmetto. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vibert’s life.
