Virginia Catherine Ellis was born in 1957 to George Robert Ellis and Elisabeth M. Ellis. Formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gini moved to the Midland area in 1995. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Tulsa. In addition to her many friends in Midland, she is survived by her mother Elisabeth M. Ellis, her brother George R. Ellis, Jr., and her daughter Shawna S. Ellis of Austin. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Wilson Room at St. Matthews Episcopal Church located at 8134 Mesa Drive, Austin, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Austin.
