Waldo (Pasq) Wilson died surrounded by his family on May 23 after a brief illness. He was born in Beaumont, TX on February 12, 1960 to Waldo Wilson and Callie Coe Wilson. He attended St. Stephen's School in Austin, TX and graduated from the Selwyn School in Denton, TX. He majored in History and Religious Studies at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. He was known by Pasq or Pasqual throughout his colorful life which he lived on his own terms. He was a published poet and performance artist who also studied with Allen Ginsberg and Ann Waldman at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, CO. His brilliant mind and creative talents will be sorely missed. He is survived by his mother, Callie Wilson of Beaumont, his sister, Nancy Wilson Scanlan of Austin, his niece, Laura Scanlan Cho of Austin and his nephew, Wilson Scanlan, of Santa Fe, NM, three great-nieces and one great-nephew - and many cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held in Beaumont, TX at the Magnolia cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31.
