Wanda Wilhelm Crites

Wanda and J.H. were married for almost 76 years and from this union they had 9 children, 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by J.H. Crites (husband); Joyce McNally (daughter); James Crites (grandson); Amanda Harden (granddaughter) and two great-grandchildren, Kyle Barnes and Preston Crites.

She was awarded the “Yellow Rose of Texas” by Governor Bill Clements in 1982 for her 36 years of PTA service. She also received a Proclamation from Mayor Carole Keeton McClellan in 1982 making February 4th “Wanda Crites Day”. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed; however, she will be in our Hearts Forever.
