He will be missed, I used to work with Mr. Buchanan during he was president of Houston Association for the Deaf, I was his secrectary. He's very bright and funny man! I will cherish our memories in my deep heart!

MY DEEPEST SYMAPTHY TO BUCHANAN FAMILY.    WILLIAM WAS WELL-KNOWN IN AUSTIN FOR LONG TIME. HE WAS AN AVID ACTIVITY FOR TSD HOMECOMING FOOTBALL EVENTS. ALSO WAS SCDB MEMBER. HE WAS A PLEASURE FELLOWSHIP AND HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. SOMETIMES I SERVED THE MEALS TO HIM AND GUIDED HIM TO SOME WHERE AS NECASSARY. WE SOMETIMES MENTIONED AND SHARED OUR DIABETES ISSUES. HE HAD BEEN BATTLING TO BE STRENGTH. MY UNDERSTANDING WAS THAT HE NO LONGER SUFFERING AND BECAME PEACE AND HAPPY UPTO THERE NOW. I SURE MISS HIM.



My deepest sympathy goes to all family members of William Buchanan.  He will be remembered as a great model role for deaf community. Be strong and accept for all of his sudden death which he is now in peace with Lord. God bless you all.

God takes William Buchanan home and his suffer is no longer. He became the well known at the deaf Texan community in US. He was encouraged to establish each of former TSD students for the reunions at Homecoming game and another occassions in yearly. He asked me about my deaf great uncles and aunt for the TSD history. He was the wonderful person. God bless all of them.

In our feeling is funny without William being not around us. He always told us about his felt part of us being as his family, because of our princess grandaughter Christy. we always to be remember him. he was a wonderful guy and his heart kindly to the Deaf Community. In his slept was peaceful from suffer any more. He had been studies and questions challenge about the Holy Bible. I am realized that he is gone already with jesus home in heaven right now and I hope everything god will forgive him for everything what he done sin on the earth.. I am very saddened to hear of Bill's passing.  I was introduced to Bill last year at our church luncheon for the Deaf but was surprised to know he remembered me and so many others in my family from years ago!  I pray the Lord brings peace and comfort to his grieving family and my prayers are with you.  In heaven, God has restored Bill with perfect health and Bill has a beautiful voice that now sings praises to God.  I am very glad he knew the Lord Jesus and is with Him right now. My heart goes to William!! I never forgot who he was that I love his sense of humors and knew he loves my laugh and understandly!!  It is really impression that He deserved with the deaf community, etc.. I know how life he went in beautiful inside and fun horscopes!!  I always will miss him. I have always remembered him when I met him since 1984..He have had a sense of humor and always remembered that he has alot socialized with deafies.. I sure do missed him dearly.. He is more happy in heaven .. I have known Clifford since 1984..He is a good friends of mine..



My sympathy goes out to William's family. He always kept in touch with the Deaf Community. He was my classmate at TSD. My husband, Walter, and William were buddies and had a lot of fun together at TSD.  The strange thing is that they both died on May 18.  Walter died 11 years ago this past Friday.  I remember William was so shocked and sad.  Now they will meet in heaven.  May God give you strength during this sad time.



We will miss him. He was always smiling and brought laughter to everyone he met. He is not suffering anymore. His family was truly blessed to have him in their life. The Deaf Community will miss him greatly.



I will ALWAYS miss him  so much he always talk me about thing u know what i am talk about so i have learn a thing better  thanks him  i still love him  sniff sniff cliff i will not forget anything



William was my grandpa. He always joked with me while I was growing up and there was some times I cried and some times I would laugh, his sense of humor was passed down to me. I finally got to see him for the last few days before he passed away, and of course I cried. Up until the day he passed away, I didn't because I know it was for the best and it was his time. I'm glad my grandfather got the chance to see my baby. He will always remain in my heart and soul. I know for always he'll be safe and happy with my grandma for eternity. I know now that he is my guardian angel. I love you Grandpa.

hi ...  he was my former dad in law.. he lived with us in the last months before he went to the hospital..   we all took care of him, GOOD thing that he was happy in the end times.   i do miss him.. he had wonderful sense of humor..   i feel different without him.. we were still close even though cliff and i were divorced.Cliff and i are still good friends..



Will miss seeing his friendly face.  Bill has always been courteous.  May he find peace wherever he goes!



HAVE GOOD OLD MEMORIES WITH HIM AS I MISS HIM WHEN HE MOVED AWAY FROM CALIF.  BE GOD WITH HIM IN PEACE   FORGET HIM NOT GINNY



I will always remember him forever, we were old friends for many years, I thanked him for show me to seesight different National Parks when we traveled for one month when I was 21 year old what I learned lots from him.
