William Dale Heard was born on July 26, 1952. He attended Pease and Joslin Elementary Schools, Porter Jr High, Travis High School and graduated from Crockett High School all in Austin, Texas. He attended Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas where he got an Associate’s Degree in Computer Sciences. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Cecil and Elaine Heard, and his sister Frances Hargrove. He is survived by his brother, Robert Heard, 2 nephews and 3 nieces, and several grand nieces and nephews. He is retired from the Computer Center at the Austin IRS Center and played drums with several bands in the Austin-Bastrop area. At the time of his death, he resided at Argent Courts in Bastrop.
