William "Bill" Heiple

William (Bill) Earl Heiple, age 63, passed on to eternal life on Tuesday May 27th 2025, at home. For the last 8 years Bill endured the effects of Alzheimer Dementia, he passed peacefully in his sleep.

Bill was born on September 28th 1961 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was the 3rd of 4 children of Bill and Marilyn Heiple. His early years were filled with a loving family, many friendships, and his love for music and sports. He attended college in Boseman, Montana, and graduated with a major in geology and a minor in math. He went on to work in seismic in Wyoming and Montana for a while where he ended up hearing about an oil field opportunity in Alice, Texas. He decided to take the opportunity and spent 15 years in the oil field leading him to have many adventures, especially in Borneo and Thailand.

While in Alice, Texas, he met his future wife, Judy. They eventually would move to Austin, Texas, where he became a Product Line Manager at Applied Materials for the next 25 years. He had many hobbies, including hiking, hunting, camping, grilling, and enjoyed seeing live music. He especially enjoyed doing those things with his friends and family, and he was almost guaranteed to make a new friend along the way. He loved talking to people from all places, and people equally enjoyed talking with him.

He is survived by his devoted wife Judy, his beloved siblings Mary, Nancy, And Bobby, his dedicated granddaughter Reina, as well as his nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Bill will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750.
