William "Bill" Richard Machuga, Jr., age 70, of Austin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Bill was born in Cleveland and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the eldest son of the late William and Irene Regrut Machuga.
He graduated from Chaney High School in 1970, Youngstown State University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a Master's degree in Business Administration. He retired from physician practice management in 2021.
Bill was known as caring, selfless, and generous and would do anything for anyone. Many considered him their “best friend”. He loved to play tennis and scrabble, and do anything outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains.
He leaves his wife of 36 years Kathryn (Smith), one brother, Richard Machuga of Youngstown, Ohio, and one sister, Elaine (Richard) Moore of Elgin, TX; mother-in-law, Annabelle Loyd, sister-in-law, Polly (Marcus) Lines; niece, Perry Lines, and nephew, Harrison Lines.
Two brothers, James Machuga and John Machuga predeceased him.
A celebration of life for Bill will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 5416 Parkcrest Drive, Austin, Texas. Final interment will take place at Remembrance Gardens in Austin, Texas.
