

William (Bill) Robert Savoldi, 93, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on November 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. William was born June 29, 1932, in Grange Corner, Indiana, the son of Angelo and Hilda Savoldi. William graduated from West Point High School, then attended Purdue University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education. He later went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri School of Mines, and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
After graduating Purdue University, William was commissioned into the United States Army on August 17, 1954, serving his country for twenty-five years including tours in both Vietnam and Korea as well as numerous other stateside and international stations. William retired from active duty in the Army on April 30, 1979. William worked as a Project Engineer for Bovay Engineering and Fluor Daniel Engineering after the army. William especially loved gardening, quilting, playing cards, and doing puzzles. William was an active member of Saint Thomas More Catholic Church.
William married Mary Ann Schneider on September 10, 1955, in Lafayette, Indiana. They were married for 65 beautiful years until she passed away on December 1, 2020. Surviving to cherish William’s memories are his brother Thomas and Pia Savoldi and sister Faye Arnett; children Stephen and Doreen Savoldi, Joseph Savoldi, and Rheta and Mike Jeter; grandchildren Christina and Gary Gober, Joseph W. Savoldi, Keaton and Gwyndolin Jeter, and Marissa Jeter; great grandchild Elijah Gober.
Visitation will be held on December 2, 2025, at 6 pm at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills in Cedar Park. Funeral Services will be held on December 3, 2025, at 2pm at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Keith officiating. Burial will follow funeral service at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery and Mausoleum in Pflugerville, Texas. Military honors will be conducted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in William’s memory may be directed to Saint Thomas More Catholic Church Mobile Loaves & Fishes ministries.
