方震 Zhen Fang

Zhen Fang was born on November 7, 1972 in Weifang, Shangdon. After he finished his elementary and middle school education in Qu Fu, the hometown of Confucius, he entered Fudan University and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in computer science. In August of 1998, Zhen came to the United States and studied for his Doctorate’s degree in Computer Science. He has worked at various internationally renowned companies like Intel, Nvidia, Advance MicroDevies. He married Xiaojuan Wang in 2000 and later had both a daughter and a son. He was a happy family man. Unfortunately, he passed away on November 1, 2014 unexpectedly at the age of 41 years.

方震的人生是短暂的，但是收获颇丰。在读书期间他总是同龄人中的佼佼者。幼时的他喜欢枪炮、喜欢画画、喜欢恶作剧、不守规矩但不过头。他是从未令爸妈操过心的乖孩子；是老师喜欢的、学习突出、顽皮不过头的好学生。成年后他热爱生活、为人低调、诚恳坦荡。工作上勤奋努力、认真踏实、精益求精。他富有爱心、同情心和感恩之心——爱老师、爱同学、爱朋友、爱老人、爱妻儿。对朋友重情守义、热情诚实、助人为乐，每次回国必看望中小学时期的老师。在美留学工作期间经常资助有经济困难的中小学的同学，对朋友给予过的任何帮助铭记在心感恩不已。

Although his life was short, Zhen lived a very fulfilling life with countless achievements. As child, he was always the top of his class at school. He loved to play gun toys with his friends, draw pictures, and even play pranks on others in good fun. He did break some rules, but never to the extent that his parents had to worry. Zhen was the kid that the teacher never had to worry about, because he kept his grades up while he was having fun. After becoming an adult, he learned to experience life to the fullest by being a humble and genuine person. He was hardworking and dependable, always looking to improve himself. He also had compassion and gratitude for all the people in his life. He loves his teachers, classmates, friends, the elderly, his family, and anyone who had provided help to him. He’d always visit his old friends and teachers whenever he returned to China. He also continuously provided support to some of the school kids in China whose family couldn’t afford education.

方震走过了坦坦然然的一生，如今斯人已去，但风范长存。愿方震在天之灵安息！

Zhen Fang had an honest life. Although he is gone now, his memory will always live on in our hearts. May Zhen rest in peace and having an eternal life in the paradise!
