Passed away peacefully on October 23, 2016 at the age of 97. Survived by her loving daughters Dawn (Allan Murphy) and Bev (Tom Reasbeck). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Kelly-Ann, Jason, Anna, Madeline, James, Michael, Charlotte and Wil great grandchildren: Murphy, Madison and Marek, cherished sister Ana (Montreal), daughter-in-law Heather Matthews, son-in-law Brian Publow as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her devoted husband Buddy (1958), beautiful daughter Janet (2015), loving sons Bill (2008) and Dick (2003), sister Jenny, brothers Gus, George and Nick.
Enormous thanks to the Nurses and staff of the 2nd Floor at the CHSLD Renaissance for the excellent care and compassion provided since 2007.
Mom was a long time volunteer and ambassador for the Aylmer Meals on Wheels and received many awards and recognition for outstanding community services over the years. A funeral mass will be held at 11am, November 4 at St. Mark Church, 160 Principale Street, Gatineau (Aylmer). Family will receive condolences at the church at 10:30 am before the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Aylmer Meals on Wheels Organization, 59 Bancroft Street, Gatineau (Aylmer) Quebec, J9H 4N6.
