Alan is survived by his wife, Donna Gassen; his daughter Pamela Gassen (Kevin); his son Brian Gassen (Michelle); and his son Scott Gassen (Jennifer); his sister Doris Cirillo (Nick).

Visitation at the firehouse for Alan will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at North Lindenhurst Fire Department, 1630 Straight Path, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. A firematic service by the North Lindenhurst fire dept. will occur Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur at North Lindenhurst Firehouse, 1630 Straight Path, Lindenhurst, NY.
