

Carl was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served his country with honor. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and their children: Cheryl and Jeff Schweider, Carl (Sig) and Meg Roesler, and John Roesler. Carl took great joy in being a grandfather to Matthew (Megan), Luke (Kelleigh), Timothy Schweider, Emma Roesler, Riley Ann Roesler, Ava Roesler, and Delainee Roesler. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Aubrey Schweider.
In addition to his immediate family, Carl is survived by his sisters, Liz and Mary, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He had a passion for coin and stamp collecting, which brought him much joy and countless stories to share with family and friends.
Carl will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A visitation for Carl will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, followed by a visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
