Catherine Lillian Cary

Catherine Lillian Cary, a resident of Bay Shore, New York, was born on June 19, 1938, and passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 87.Catherine was surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted homemaker whose life was centered around caring for those she loved and creating a warm, welcoming home.

Catherine enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, reading, and shopping. She loved anything Disney and found great joy in Christmas and all holidays. Decorating for each season, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, and cooking special, meals for her family were among her favorite ways to show love. Spending time with her family meant everything to her. She was married for 43 years to her beloved husband, James Cary, who passed away in 2000. Catherine is survived by her 8 children: Late Catherine(Bill), Debbie(Gary), Jim(Jean), Susan(Joel), Jane(John), Jean, MaryJane(Jason), & Cindy(Raul).She also is survived by her sixteen grandchildren: Gary, Denise. Alex, Charlie John, Robert, Jimmy, Kayla, Julia, Emma, Johnny, Ben, Isabella, Adelynne, Ryan and Ruben. Catherine was a proud great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren: Valerie, Brady, Derek, Ariyah & Sebastian. Catherine will be remembered for her loving heart, devotion to family, and the joy she brought to every holiday gathering. Her memory will live on through the family she cherished and the traditions she lovingly passed down.

Visitation will take place at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Homes, located at 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702, on February 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's RC Church, 9 Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706, on February 9, 2026, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
