Dear Meg, CJ, Chris and Betty Anne,

I so love the main picture of Chuckie above.  He looks just like the babe in arms I remember so well.   His smile got bigger and brighter through the years as his family grew with the blessings of  his Meg and your boys (men now).

Your grief is immense. I share a little part of it with you.  Chuckie is missed by many.  He touched so many lives.  His life and your lives with him was cut short.  

May you find peace and comfort in happy memories.

They say your cousins are your first friends. And from a young age Chuck spent hours with me at our family functions. Playing board games to keep me entertained while the adults did their thing. Cousin Chuck was a mentor and friend throughout life.I admired him in countless ways. Making an impression on me through his military service, his Jeep and the caring relationships he had with family. He was an unspoken mentor and an inspiration. As adults we enjoyed sharing perspectives on life and politics, sharing many of the same feelings on some things and enjoying friendly debating when we differed.  His brand of humor fell in line with my own. 

Chuck was an amazing person all around and that's evidenced by his children, the next gen of my wonderful cousins . Chuck you will be miss missed endlessly. Thanks you. 

Our deepest sympathies to Meg , CJ and Christopher and the family of Chuckie. We will miss him in our hearts and our thoughts. We will miss Chuckie but will never forget him. May he rest in peace .

I am so sadden to learn of Chuck’s passing. My heart goes out to Meg and the boys.  Chuck was my political partner for many years and started every phone call each morning with “hello there, young lady”.  But there came a time when he chose family over politics and I admired him for that.  I am out of the country right now and writing this from Amsterdam.   So sad that I’m not able to join you all in celebrating Chuck’s life.  I will save this photo of Chuck forever.

I met both Chuck Sr. and Jr. through Sunrise Fish and Game Association.  Chuck Jr. just a nice fun guy up at Lexington.  Traits I'm sure he learned through his father. RIP Chuck.
