Edward F. Caravalho

Edward F. Caravalho, age 85, of West Babylon, New York ( for 50 years ) and originally from Queens-NYC passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Edward was a beloved husband to his amazing wife Concetta for 50-plus years. He was a wonderful caring father ( “Pop” ) to Edward Mario. He taught me baseball and lived it daily with him for 56-plus years -- as loyal diehard METS fans. Edward M’s many amazing friends called him Mr. C. or Pop, and he truly loved them and many memories together or stories or the phone calls, pictures or RUSH concert trips, feedback or videos.

He was an extremely proud Uncle and Godfather, always sharing updates and pictures. He was a brother to Aunts & Uncles that treated EMC like a son. He was a dear friend to many, blessed by their numerous times together over a lifetime, especially with Anna.

He coached baseball and played softball, enjoyed bowling, movies and his yard. He possessed the skills of a carpenter.

He was a “Good Neighbor”, a member of the Knight of Columbus and enjoyed some wine or an espresso martini in his elder years.

EFC will be dearly missed by many. RiP !

A visitation for Edward F. will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Following the visitation will be an interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
