Uncle Frank was a very special uncle and godfather to me. Some of my fondest and most fun memories were spending time as a child with my Aunt Lil and Uncle Frank and cousins. He was like a second father to me. Always a kind, loving and fun uncle and he will always hold a special place in my heart.   I will miss him greatly and always cherish my memories.

To My One and Only Love,
     It’s now over one month since I last saw and kissed your handsome face.   I miss you so much each and every day.  Reading all the loving and heartwarming comments our family and friends have written has me reminiscing, smiling but also constantly crying.  You are loved by so many.  
     I am overwhelmed by the love and words our daughters and grandchildren have written and so proud of them ALL.  
     My 55+ years spent knowing and loving you has given me a multitude of memories.  I’ll always remember how it began in 1968 that night you asked me to dance at Community Gardens.  As we started dating, you always took me to special places and great restaurants.  You would never forget a holiday or special event.  You bestowed me with jewelry that I will treasure forever- from 14k to my favorite Swarovski.  I’ll never forget how long it would take you to wrap my Christmas gifts with the perfectly wrapped paper and bows YOU would shop for.  Macy’s would have hired you in a minute.  You always gave me the best cards and spent time writing in them and underlining almost every word.  Oh, how I loved it.  
     I miss the Sunday morning egg Mc muffins you made me.  I miss our extended breakfasts each morning, drinking coffee, reading the paper, doing puzzles and talking for hours.  I’ll always miss listening to our oldies music together, slow dancing and our lindy dance.  The wonderful memories could go on and on and do keep me moving forward day by day.  YOU were the BEST HUSBAND.  
     How can I ever say Goodbye to someone who has been my LIFE forever?  I can’t - So YOU will FOREVER be in my HEART and I will ALWAYS LOVE YOU.    Until WE MEET AGAIN…

Dearest Uncle Frank, You will always be in ours hearts, and we will miss your fun, loving smile. I enjoyed all your words of wisdom and how you shared fun stories of your past adventures with my mom and your siblings. When I was young you introduced me to model trains. I never looked at a model train or real one without thinking of you, and I will always think of you now when I see one! I will never forget how kind you and Aunt Lillian have been to me, and how sweet you have been to Laura and my children. Dear Dad,
   There are no words to describe what losing you means to me. You were not only the best Dad, but so much more to me. Growing up, you were our strong, hard working, loving Dad. You held us when we got hurt, helped us when we needed a project done, made every Halloween costume for us, cheered for us at every concert and dance recital. As we got older, our relationship changed. I know I didn't always make it easy for you. I probably gave you half of the gray hair on your head. But still, you taught me right from wrong, you were patient, you listened, gave advice, defended me, forgave me, you believed in me. Most importantly, you loved me unconditionally.  You taught me all these things and more without "teaching" me.  
   You were the first man I ever truly loved. You set the bar high,  You taught us just how a girl should be treated in the many ways you showed your love for Mom. You were always affectionate and devoted to Mom and you worked hard to create a beautiful life in retirement together.  
You were the best Grandpa to each of your 10 grandchildren. You made time for every one of them. You created your own special bond with each of my kids and they have such an adoration and respect for you, Dad. You never missed a birthday party, and always made time to go to their baseball games, dance recitals, play soccer or baseball in the yard, go swimming or to the "beauty parlor" with the girls, play hide and seek, you even played fetch with the dog. The months during Covid were a crazy time in our lives, but Billy, the kids, and I gained an immeasurable gift from it. True quality time with you and Mom. Making memories that we will never forget. It was during this time that you taught the kids how to make pizza dough.  I am grateful for those nights spend making pizza with you, it is one of many traditions I promise to continue in the years to come.   You had a heart of gold.  Everyone who knew you loved you and respected you. You had a way about you. You were cool. Everyone's favorite. You were fun to be around, you'd help anyone, you genuinely cared. 
    There are so many memories I have that I will treasure forever.  Our road trips/vacations as a family to Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, camping, summers at the beach and on the boat.  Holidays with your famous Brandy Alexanders and appetizer trays. In the past few years, our trips to visit you and Mom in Florida, beaching, getting nice dinners, always ending the night with ice cream. our adventure to the top of the lighthouse with the kids.
   For as long as I know, you've been the constant in my life.  Always  there with a story to tell, always ready to fix something I'd broken, always with a smile, and the big tight hug I needed at just the right time. For months, we've questioned why this happened to you, why you had to suffer like you did. The only thing I can think is that in these past 7 months, we got to spend more TIME with you, DAD.  Precious, 1-on-1 time with you, that each of us might not have otherwise gotten due to busy schedules and the hecticness of life. In some way I'm grateful for that time. I try to find comfort knowing you are no longer suffering.  I hope you know we did everything we could and never gave up hope that you would get better with time. It still doesn't feel real. I miss you every day.  I miss your voice. I miss seeing you at the dining room table when I go to Mom's.  I miss your company & cheering at the boys' games, your whistle at the girls' dance comps. I miss the comfort of knowing that I could just stop by to see you or call you with a question and know you'd be there. My heart is forever changed, a piece missing without you here.  I will always love you, and miss you... until the day we meet again.

 I love you so much. I will miss when you come to my house and play hide and seek with me and let me do your hair in my room. I will miss you in the summer when you swim with me in the pool. Dear Frank
The holidays will never be the same without you  I loved coming to your house for Thanksgiving and watching in awe as you carved the turkey!!  I really think you could be in the Guinness Book of World records for least amount of meat left on a turkey carcass!! 
I loved our Christmas Eves, most times in recent years just the 4 of us but always fun, sitting around chatting as Lil and I drank a "few" cosmos...while having your awesome clams!!
Can't forget the crazy Easters-when inviting Lil and Frank-we were inviting 18....lol! Wouldn't have it any other way! So much fun
You were such an amazing man that everyone loved and another role model in my boys lives.  We will all miss you always and will forever be thankful for all the memories of our times together.

Then there were the times when you would move your teeth while talking and my boys would laugh the whole way home!

Dear Dad,

You will always be remembered as the man everyone knew and loved.  We are all heart broken without you.  To know you was to love you and I wonder if you ever knew just how many lives you truly touched.  Everyone that met you or knew you had beautiful moments to share about you.   
Anyone could see that you lit up any room you walked into.  Everyone wanted to be around you.  You were the life of the party and the best dancer too. 
You were loyal, dependable, caring, genuine, and the greatest role model for our kids.  You were the BEST grandpa to all of your 10 grandchildren.  You could always be seen playing with the kids; whether it was coloring or drawing with them, cooking together, throwing a ball, taking them out to eat or someplace fun.  You had a beautiful bond with each one of them that they will cherish forever.  Your love for them was unconditional.  

There are no words I could possibly use to describe  just how very much I miss you.  I miss your cooking, drawing, dance moves, and amazing fashion sense.  I miss your hugs, your smile, your laugh, your voicemails, and your voice.  I miss our drinks, talks, and how you always made time to listen.  I will especially miss just knowing you were there.  

You were the best dad a girl could ever have.  You were always there for us.  From creating hand made halloween costumes for us,  helping with our art projects,  watching every dance recital, and so much more; you were there to guide us every step of the way.  It couldn't have been easy living with all us girls; even our dogs were girls! 
You were respectful and showed us what a true gentleman is.

You were always encouraging and supportive and you taught me everything I know... except how to live without you.  💔

I cant believe you'r not here with us anymore.  With  all my heart, I love and think about you every day. I cherish and love every single moment with you. You taught me so many things. Home raising us while we were younger . We have so many memories of all our vacations to Virginia Beach, Florida, Aruba all our camping trips with the family every year . We did it all. From pizza making to trains to playing ball with them all and going to all there games and recitals you did it all never complained and always had a smile on your face. I will miss your pasta and cauliflower that you always made me special. You would light up any room you walked into.  Everyone loved you. I want you to know that I will never ever let your memory fade. We will talk about you always . Even though life will never be the same without you we will promise to keep all your traditions alive forever. I promise to take care of mom like you told me to always and I will make sure she is 
ok.

I will never forget our childhood years  in Villa. I was so happy to have a little brother. 
We grew up to be best friends and shared  many good times. Some of the best times being running home after school to see American Bandstand and trying to learn the Lindy.  Although you loved to find new ways to scare me— one time so bad I was left with a stutter— I  always knew you had my back. As we got older we  enjoyed the wonderful times together with our families, especially the many camping trips.  We  looked forward to spending our winter months together in Florida.  My winter months will never be the same without you. I miss you so much, part of my heart went with you to heaven. Until we meet again, you’ll always be in my heart and in my mind forever.

Dear Grandpa,
Literally nothing can explain how much I will forever miss you. I loved making food with you, especially your pizza.  It was so good. I will miss going in the pool with you in the summer and you teaching me how to draw things. I will miss playing sports with you in the front yard. It was very fun when you would take us to go mini golfing.  I will miss going out to dinner with you and nan, especially Flanigan's,  in Florida. I miss when you and nan would come over to watch me and Keith and we would go out to lunch and stores. I will miss playing board games with you, nan and Keith, and how you would always win because you were really good at every game. I will miss the faces you would make with us and how you always knew how to make me laugh and smile. I really miss telling you about everything that happened during school because I knew I could tell you anything. Even though I miss you so so much and that will never change, I feel a little better to know that you are no longer in pain and you are in a happier place than where you were for the past few months.  I loved when you would come to my cheer competitions and cheer me on. You always knew how to make everyone feel special, even Carly too - you always gave her extra attention.  It was very funny when you would take out your teeth and make noises with them.  I forever love and miss you and I love every moment we had together.  Love you so so much

Still, a month later I can’t wrap my head around the thought of losing you Uncle Frank. I still think of you every day and often look at photos of you to make it feel like I’m a little closer to you than I am. My favorite memories of you are every single one of your hugs. Something I’m sure everyone knows about you is that you give the best hugs and make the best pizza. It’s no secret to anyone that I think you give the best hugs in the world and nobody will ever beat them out. I’m sorry you went through everything you did the last 7 months, but if there’s any bright side at all I am grateful for all the extra time I spent with you because of it. I’m always going to miss you, but I will always hold memories of you close to my heart. Besides your hugs, another thing I always remember of you and Aunt Lil is that you always made time for me. You came to watch me play softball even though you had a packed schedule with your 10 grandkids and their activities too. Thank you for always being the best uncle and for making me smile and laugh even when you went through your hardest times. I love you and miss you 🥰 💔❤️‍🩹

I cannot help but feel such a sincere loss to our family since you passed. You were always such a super fun uncle…. One that was like a second father to me and my sister….. you  were so wonderful with my own children when you visited- in the same manner you always were with me and my sister. That visit was one I will never forget. We laughed so much! We played with Snapchat filters and giggled until we cried. We walked around the outdoor mall and you were in heaven looking at all the sports cars that were there. I hope you know how very much I love you. Putting on dance recitals for you as a kid, laughing with you, swimming with you, playing in your backyard, sooooo many sleepovers…. The fun times and laughs were endless.     When I heard that you passed away, my heart dropped. I felt devastated. I still can’t believe that you’re in heaven. I will always remember when you came to my baseball games and cheered for me. My favorite thing was having a soccer pass with you in the backyard. I only wish you could’ve come to my games to watch me play. I will always remember the days we went swimming in your pool and mine, and when we went to your condo and slept over. I always had fun when you would come to my house and watch us when Mom and Dad went out or away.  And I loved when you came over to make pizza with us and then stay for dinner.   I will never forget when you scared us on Halloween with your scary old man mask and fake blood on your shirt.  I always had fun with you. It is not even a month and I miss you so much already.  I have so many memories with you . Making pizza with you is my favorite one. I will really miss you being at my baseball games, you were my biggest fan.      To say I miss you a lot grandpa is an understatement. I loved spending time with you whether it was coming to baseball games, making pizza, FaceTiming when you were in Florida, playing in the yard, visiting you in Florida, and so many other things. As hard as it has been to deal with losing you, I know you’re in a much better place now and I l know your having fun and probably making pizza! On March 23rd, I got the saddest news of my life. I was heartbroken, I didn’t think it was true. All the stuff you did, power washing, driving, playing with all of us. To this, you were the best grandpa I could ever ask for, there was one thing you couldn’t do.   Everyone one you knew loved you so much. I cant ever forget the trains and how much fun I had building them with you for the past months. You were always active, whether it was playing sports with me, or swimming in the pool. You always knew how to put a smile on my face. I also cant forget the hilarious faces you made, sticking out your tongue, and making me laugh. I will never forget you. I will meet with you soon. on march 23rd i got the worst news of my life and the news i never thought i would ever hear. grandpa, i still can’t wrap my head around the fact that you are gone. you fought for a long 7 months and i now know that you are no longer in pain anymore and you can be at peace. i really don’t know what i’m going to do without my best friend. i will forever cherish all our memories like dancing in the living room, making pizza, looking for snakes under the mat, going in the pool, making milkshakes, trips to greenport, me sitting on your lap and you singing songs to me, taking your teeth out and making them rattle,  and many more. you were my number 1 supporter and you never missed anything. you were at every one of my dance recitals and you would do your loud whistle at the  end of all my dances. you always knew how to make me laugh no matter what it was. i will forever be your italian princess grandpa. i love and miss you beyond words. ❤️❤️❤️

                                  Words can’t even describe how much I miss and love you. When I was told you left us I didn’t really know what to think or what to say. You impacted my life in so many different ways. I will forever miss and cherish every memory we’ve made together like having our baseball catches, looking for the snakes under the mat, taking our trips to the city to get a haircut and then getting fresh bread and mortadella and making sandwiches, teaching me how to fish and crab. My dear friend Frank
   There are no words i can say of how much you will be missed. 
    Our friendship started with back in the days of putting in the sewers on our property and we won that battle. I have so many memories of all the happy times we spent together with our family and friends. Over the last 46 years we shared  many special occasions. There also were the barbecues at the beach and lobster dinners in my backpack till 3am. So many wonderful memories. 
      Frank you can count on me to be there for Lil , Jenn, Debbie and Chrissy whenever needed. I will always cherish the friendship we had. So until we meet again Rest In Peace my friend.

The special memories of 46 years of friendship, will always make me smile and proud that I had you for a friend and the laughs we had.            
I won’t forget how it was important to you that we blow out the sprinkler zones twice.. once was not good enough, or wrapping the fig tree with several warm layers for the winter, cause more was better..

Whenever there was a family party, my first question to my mom would be “will Uncle Frank and Aunt Lil be there?” Always most excited to see them. 

Holding you in my heart in this time of mourning and always.  There are no words for the sorrow I feel for the great loss of my brother, Frank.  He was the Best of the Best!  He was handsome,  caring, lovable and affectionate.  My daughter would always say that Uncle Frank gives the Best hugs, better than anyone she knows!  He was always willing to give a helping hand.  I have a lot of great memories with my brother too many to mention, but the most special memory was when he walked me down the aisle on my wedding day.  He will be greatly missed and he’ll always have a special place in his little sister’s heart.  Until we meet again…


Frank was the best hugger and double cheek kisser I’ve ever known and I will forever keep those in my heart.   He was the teacher of valuable lessons including the time he took our Barbie dolls and hid them when Jenn and I left the house to go to the store without bringing our toys inside.  We thought they were stolen and Frank made us wait through dinner until telling us how we should take better care of our belongings that are of value to us.  That lesson came in handy when teaching my own son to take better care of his bike and sports equipment by putting them away instead of leaving them out in front of the house!

Frank’s boat was the first boat I was ever on and it was tons of fun to experience.  I’ll never forget the day we broke down in the great South Bay and no boats were around- the water was still and air was silent, and suddenly Jenn calmly shouts out ….HELP!!!!!  I still laugh when I think of that day! 

Frank made the best homemade pasta I’ve ever eaten and most delicious sauce.  I have endless memories of swimming in his gigantic round pool and walking the path through the woods that he cleared for Jenn and I to come back and forth between our blocks.  Thank you, Frank, for contributing some of the best memories I could have ever asked for in childhood. Thank you for being there for me and my family always. Thank you for being the friend we get to choose as family.  Love you Frank! Forever in our hearts 

Lil, Jenn, Deb, Chrissy- you are four amazingly strong women who are surrounded by tons of love and support. We will always be here for you and love you so much! I pray for your hearts to heal, your memories to last forever, and for Frank to send you more signs than you can count to let you know he is always with you.
