George W. Skidmore

George W. Skidmore, 92, of Bethpage, entered into Eternal Life on May 25, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Theresa. Devoted father of Robert, John and David. Predeceased by his sons Richard and James. Loving father-in-law of Jeannie and Kristi. Adored grandfather of Joshua, Diane Rabb, Chris, Nichole Descalso, Terri Aziz, Krista Clemens, Joseph, Maria, Charles, Roseanna, and Rachel. Cherished great-grandfather of Gianna Caruso, Lindsey Rabb, Hailey Rabb, Zayda, Anthony Aziz, Renesmee Clemens, Kylo Clemens, and Chloe Rabb. Dear brother of Olive Skelly. George was a proud US Navy Veteran who served our country in the Korean War. He was also a proud and active member of the Freemasons. He will be deeply loved and forever missed by the generations of his family who survive him. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 and Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 2-4:30pm & 7-9:30pm. Closing prayers 10am Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park with full military honors.
