Harriet M. Gould

Harriet M Gould (nee Hodge) 85 of North Massapequa, entered into Eternal Life on April 9, 2023. Devoted mother of Patricia (Robert) and Lorie. Adored grandmother of Kimberly, Patricia, Kelli, Kathleen and Tracy. Loving great grandmother of Jayson, Bradley, Hailey, Giovani, Emily, Abigail, Owen, Ariana, Angelina and Anthony.

Harriet was born in Malden, MA and as a young girl, moved with her family to Long Island. She married her childhood sweetheart and raised her family. Through the years, Harriet had many jobs and titles, from sales clerk to small business owner. Her most passionate job title was that of Mom and Grandma - affectionately known as Grandma Harry.

Harriet spent much time caring for her granddaughters, attending various school events and cheering on her great grandchildren in sporting activities. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and loved to bake. She was famous for her chocolate chip cookies. During summer months, when she wasn’t in the bleachers rooting on one of her great grandchildren, you could find her in front of the TV cheering for the NY Mets.

Her biggest pride was the love of her family and she considered everyone family.

She will be missed by all and will remain close to our hearts always.

A visitation for Harriet will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
