Jeanne grew up in Rockaway Beach with a proud Irish heritage. Graduated from Stella Maris High School. Moving to Levittown in 1952 with her family and marrying Richard Wentz. Jeanne had 8 children and went to school to be a nurse. She was a natural. Meeting Art Cummings a friend again later was a true blessing, they found soulmates within each other, enjoying a happy life in West Babylon for decades.

Jeanne loved to read, with her small book collection her most prized possession. She was also an artist at heart, loving to sketch, paint with pastels being her favorite medium.

A visitation for Jeanne will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 700 Albin Ave, West Babylon, New York 11704. An interment will occur Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 12:15 PM at North Babylon Cemetery, Livingston Ave and Sunrise Highway S Service Rd, North Babylon, New York.
