Joan Crocker

Joan Crocker(nee Kanzler), 97, of North Babylon,entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert, and her children, Peter, Michael and Joan Stacy. Devoted mother of Robert Crocker, Jr., Eileen Levy, Maryjo Niland, and Dianne Resetco. Loving mother-in-law of Ginny Crocker, Chuck Levy, Diane Crocker, Michael Niland, and Randy Resetco. Adored grandmother of Evan (Lauren), Leslie (Mike), Lauren (Jimmy), Sean (Emily), Ian (Katie), Michael (Kalea), Gregory, Marissa (Andrew), Jane, and Eddie. Cherished great-grandmother of Ben, Hannah, Jack, Lydia, Charlotte, Della, Jack, Addy, Avery, and two children on the way. Dear sister of Joseph "Buddy" Kanzler, Eileen Smith, and Robert Kanzler. Joan loved crocheting, embroidering, reading, and watching classic films. She was a member of Homemakers, a craft-making club. Previously, Joan had been a registered nurse and a caretaker, an angel of mercy who brought her loving and healing touch to many. She will be loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 2:00 PM-4:30 PM and 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Funeral mass 10:15 AM Thursday, September 19, 2024, Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Deer Park, NY. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. In lieu of flowers, donations to Johns Hopkins Children's Center would be gratefully appreciated.
