You don’t know me, but we were best friends while he lived in Brooklyn many years ago. I just looked up his name out of curiosity today 1/7/25 and noticed he passed away in 2021. He was such a great kid along with his five brothers and it’s amazing how much he looked like his father. We would hang out in my basement and race Aurora cars or play in each others yard. Our families along with another family would have barbecues together. I remember visiting their summer home in Shinnecock and go fishing from their backyard. We would play tricks on his younger brother Thomas. Those were the good old days.

Unfortunately when his mother Ann passed away, his father decided to move the family to Long Island. We never make contact afterwards but every now and then I would reminisce about the fun times we had growing up in Brooklyn..

Hopefully his family gets to read this message.

I am Camille Furnari’s  sister.   One time  having dinner at Camille and Chris house my car broke down. Right away John offered to give my daughter and I a ride home.    I thought that was so sweet of him. I think I had just met him at that time.   I am so sorry to hear he has passed away.   I would like to send my sincere condolences to his family. 




John, we go back a long time and I thought we had more to go. I glad for the time I knew you. I always enjoyed hanging with you and your brothers, friends, family just jamming, fishing, whatever, it was always good. You are missed. RIP
