John J. Meglino

John James Meglino, 80, of West Islip, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Beloved husband of Claire Meglino (nee Mazzella). Devoted father of Valerie Meglino and the late John A. Meglino. Adored grandfather of Samatha Meglino-Vento. Cherished brother of Rose Ann Dick and the late Elvera Vieni. Former owner of Perito Pizzaria in Lindenhurst, NY and formerly a machinist and Heavy Equipment Operator. John was family-oriented and devoted to his wife, children, and granddaughter. He enjoyed gathering with his family and friends, especially to celebrate all of the July birthdays and his famous Christmas Eve Dinners. John loved model railroading and enjoyed cruising, day trips, and casino fun in his earlier years. In his later years, John relished spending his time in daily chats with his family and friends, as well as armchair travel, game shows, and classic movies. John always embraced the next challenge that life brought him. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. John's family will receive friends at Claude R.
